Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 57 runs in the first match of the T20 series on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 166 runs, the Zimbabwean team was bowled out for 108 runs. In the match played in Bulawayo today, Pakistan batted first and scored 165 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, the entire Zimbabwean team was bowled out for just 108 runs in 15.3 overs. Three Zimbabwean batsmen returned to the pavilion without scoring a run. Sikandar Raza with 39 and Toddy Vanashe stood out with 33 runs.
Pakistan’s spinners Abrar Ahmed and Sufyan Moqim took three wickets each, while Haris Rauf took two wickets and Jahan Dad Khan took one wicket.

At the start of the match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat. The first wicket of the visiting team fell for 18 runs when opener Umair Yusuf was caught out after scoring 16 runs.
After that Saeem Ayub and Usman Khan took over the team. However, Saim was dismissed for 24 runs on a total score of 57. His innings included two fours and a six.
The third wicket fell to Usman Khan, who was dismissed for 39 runs in the 13th over. He hit two fours and two sixes in his innings.
Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha was dismissed for 13 runs in the 14th over. Tayyab Tahir and Irfan Khan then played brilliantly and put on an unbeaten 65-run partnership, which saw Pakistan post a total of 165 runs.
Tayyab Tahir scored 39 runs and Irfan Khan scored 27 runs. Among the host bowlers, Sikandar Raza, Richard Grava, Wellington Masakdza, and Ryan Burrell took one wicket each.
