West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard grabbed the headlines by hitting 5 consecutive sixes in England’s Hundred League. He hit these sixes on the balls of Afghanistan’s leg-spinner Rashid Khan.
In the 24th match of the Hundred League, thanks to Pollard’s smoky innings, Southern Braves defeated Trent Rockets by 2 wickets.
At one point the Southern Brewers were 6 wickets down for 78 runs but Pollard single-handedly won the toss.
In this match, Trent Rockets scored 126 runs for 8 wickets while batting first. Southern Brew achieved the target of 127 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
