Peshawar: 6 Afghan nationals were arrested for making fake Pakistani identity cards.
FIA Peshawar Zone arrested an Afghan national named Najibullah at Torkham border. A fake identity card of Pakistan was recovered from the possession of the accused, while an Afghan Tazkira was also present. According to preliminary investigation, accused Najibullah entered Pakistan through Chaman border. The accused obtained Pakistani passports and identity cards through Quetta-based Qari Hafiz.
According to the FIA spokesperson, 5 more Afghan nationals with fake Pakistani identity cards and passports were arrested from Osmania Hostel Peshawar on the identification of the accused. Various Pakistani identity cards, Pakistani passports and Afghan tezriks were also recovered from the possession of the accused. Raids are being conducted to arrest the agent.
According to preliminary investigation, the accused were planning to go to Kabul via Saudi Arabia using Pakistani identity cards and passports. The involvement of Nadar and Passport Office employees will be investigated during the determination.
