Jeremy Madix, the brother of former Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, was arrested at his home in Oceanside, California, on July 10 and extradited to Orange County, Florida.
According to legal documents obtained by various celebrity gossip outlets, Madix was charged with trafficking more than 25 pounds of cannabis relating to an incident that occurred on February 16.
The arrest warrant alleges that Jeremy and his friend Jonah Ahad were traveling from Orlando International Airport to Frankfurt, Germany, when Customs and Border Protection agents searched two of Jeremy’s bags and one of Ahad’s bags.

Madix was initially held in custody without bail, but a judge eventually set the amount at $80,000 and she has now been released.
The reality star was required to turn in her passport to the clerk’s office within five days of her release.
Maddix faces a minimum sentence of three years in prison and a fine of $25,000.
Since the arrest, Jeremy’s mother, Tanya Maddix, has written a letter of support for her son, telling the judge overseeing the case that Jeremy, 32, is a “wonderful, loving son” and a “kind person.”
However, there has been no comment from sister Ariana.
This is because the siblings are not close to each other.
“Obviously, I’ll always stand by my sister,” Jeremy said on the Pump Rules podcast in March, referring to his infamous split with Ariana following Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Lewis.
“But yeah, I need to talk to Tom. I’d love to talk to my sister, but I haven’t spoken to her in months.”
He previously told US Weekly that the rift stems from the fact that Ariana doesn’t get along with Jeremy’s fiancée.
“There have been some minor aggressive gestures made towards my fiancée, and that’s why I haven’t been able to speak to my sister. This has been going on for a while,” he told the tabloid months ago.
“I think we’re going to let it go like that, because of course I’m always going to have my sister’s side. But I’ve been put in a position where do I choose my sister, or do I choose the person I’m going to spend the rest of my life with?”
