Rubmar is a writer and translator who has been a crypto enthusiast for the past four years. After learning about cryptocurrencies in 2019, Rubmar became curious to learn about the world of possibilities this industry offered, quickly realizing that financial freedom was within her hands with the developing technology.
From an early age Rubmar was curious about how languages work, with a particular interest in wordplay and the peculiarities of dialects. Her curiosity grew as she became an avid reader in her teens. She found freedom and discovered new words through her favourite books, which shaped her view of the world. Rubmar acquired the skills necessary for in-depth research and analytical thinking at university, where she studied literature and linguistics. Her studies have given her an incisive perspective on many subjects and allowed her to turn every stone in her investigations.
In 2019, she first ventured into the crypto industry when a friend introduced her to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but she didn’t delve deeper into the industry until 2020. As Rubmar began to understand the mechanisms of the crypto sector, she saw a new world that is yet to be explored.
At the beginning of her crypto journey, she discovered a new system that allowed her to take control of her finances. As a young adult in the 21st century, Rubmar has faced the challenges of the traditional banking system and the restrictions of fiat money.
After the failure of her country’s economy, the limitations of traditional finance became apparent. The bureaucratic, outdated structure made her feel frustrated and powerless amidst an aggressive and distorted system created by hyperinflation. However, learning about decentralization and self-preservation opened up a realm of opportunities. Cryptocurrencies allowed her to experience financial control for the first time and expand her financial education.
Furthermore, the unique nature of the crypto community sparked Rubmar’s curiosity about other layers of the industry. As a result, she found a special interest in exploring the diverse perspectives of investors, market observers, experts, and developers. Her efforts to better understand the crypto space made her realize the community’s strong ties with other industries, enriching her view of the sector. As someone who spends most of her day online, Rubmar enjoys finding points where the crypto world meets her other passions and hobbies – or her favorite memes.
In her free time, she usually finds enjoyment in various art forms. As a child, she participated in every extracurricular activity in her hometown, including music classes, dance, jewelry making, and the local chorus. Despite her many attempts to learn various instruments, Rubmar only knows how to play the xylophone, which she played in her school’s marching band for 7 years.
She is also passionate about learning new languages and cultures, aiming to learn six more languages - currently she is attempting to learn Italian and Korean. Scrapbooking, paper crafting and bookbinding are her biggest interests apart from work, constantly taking classes and attending workshops to learn new techniques. The rest of her free time is spent keeping up with football matches and transfer market news, or feeding cats – whether they are her own or stray.
