Prince William is the royal most responsible for Prince Harry’s lifetime ban on all family gatherings.
At least that’s the inflammatory claim being made by one leading royal expert.
As you probably know, William and Harry have been feuding for years.

Prince William bans Harry from royal functions: does he have the right?
According to journalist Hilary Fordwich, Harry is still a persona non grata among his family. And even though Charles is king, it seems the decision was mostly William’s.
It seems that Charles would love to be reunited with his estranged son. But William has encouraged his father to follow age-old royal rules of conduct.
Fordwich recently reported, “If anyone would be moderate, it would be King Charles III, who, of course, Prince William would not challenge.” fox news,

,[He] She still misses her ‘lovely boy’ and wants to see more of Prince Harry.’
But while Charles may wish to reconcile with his son, Fordwich claims that Harry’s memoir and other breaches of protocol have made this all but impossible.
“However, to date, after the release Excessive And with the Netflix series, as well as with everything Harry has said, done and not done — it’s Prince William who refuses to even talk to his brother,” Fordwich says.

“With Prince Harry, it’s all an issue of trust. “Prince William is the most unlikely royal to forgive Harry for all his disgusting indiscretions.”
William followed the law
According to Fordwich, William is a firm believer in the importance of royal customs, rules and protocol.
She says, “He is now very much seen and accepted as the originator of the family, taking on the harsh ruler role of his grandfather, Prince Philip.”

“In this capacity, it is widely known within the family that Prince William has placed an absolute ban on Harry returning to his former royal family in any way, shape or form,”
Just a few years ago, the idea of William banning Harry would have seemed absurd.
The brothers were famously close. According to insiders, their relationship was strengthened by their shared grief over the death of their mother, Princess Diana.

But these days, talks between Harry and William are off.
And it seems more and more like William has no interest in bridging the differences.
There is talk of Harry coming to Britain on Christmas. But for now, a Yuletide reconciliation with William seems unlikely.
