In Pakistan, a case of a major attack has come to light near Karachi Airport on Sunday night. After the explosion, clouds of smoke were seen rising in the area. According to local news reports, residents across the city heard the explosion. Television footage showed smoke billowing from the area, with a large fire visible on a road near the blast site. The explosion was reportedly heard in different areas of the city including North Nazimabad and Karimabad.
Cars parked nearby caught fire.
A car caught fire near a traffic signal near the airport. VIP protocol vehicles usually go here. According to journalists present at the spot, other vehicles parked there also caught fire.

Saeed Waseem, another journalist present at the scene, said that the blast took place on the road leading out of the airport. Further information is awaited after authorities investigate the incident.
