England’s second Test against Pakistan remains in limbo as the tourists closed on 36-2 chasing a win target of 297 after a thrilling third day in Multan.

Ben Duckett, who had scored a century in the first innings, was dismissed by Sajid Khan (1-27) for a duck and fellow opener Jack Crawley was stumped by Noman Ali (1-9), leaving England unable to reach 36. Even after 261 runs were required. -2 on stumps.
