The team of Crime Investigation Branch-2 has arrested the killer Kulwinder Singh alias Mandeep alias Sheela son of Jaswinder Singh resident of Dubkhedi. An all-out brawl ensued over the demand for handcuffs and the young man was killed due to that. In such a situation, asking for a handcuff to quench the urge to smoke proved to be expensive for the young man.

According to sources, in a complaint lodged with the police on December 12, Rinko of Indira Colony, Kurukshetra, had stated that he has been working as a street laborer in front of Rudra Cinema on Railway Road for 15 years. On December 12, 2024, when he went to a vacant plot behind the street to use the bathroom, he saw a man lying in a pool of blood with sharp weapon marks on his neck and body. He told a laborer working near the plot and then informed the police.

As soon as the information was received, the police team along with FSL and dog squad team investigated the spot. A case of murder was registered at Krishna Gate police station. The entire case was investigated by SI Pramod Kumar, Premchand, ASI Ram Kumar, Surinder Singh, Chief Constable Mahesh and Sandeep Kumar under the guidance of Inspector In-charge Mohanlal. A knife used in the incident and a mobile phone were recovered from the accused.

Inspector Mohanlal, in-charge of Crime Branch-2, said that during the questioning of the accused, the matter of a minor quarrel has come to light. He said that the accused was living on rent in Tikka Building of Railway Road for a long time. During this time he worked at Surya Food, Amin Road. On the night of December 12, he had consumed a lot of alcohol and was lighting a roadside fire on the railway road. At the same time, a young Nepali boy came to him drunk and asked for a handcuff. He said he didn’t have a bid so he kept asking for bids and then they got into a fight. Enraged, he stabbed her in the neck with a knife and ran away.
