According to the medical examiner’s website, the status of Baena’s case is listed as “open” with an examination already scheduled. No cause of death has been revealed, nor has Plaza publicly discussed his passing. us weekly Contacted for comment.

“We were in lockdown,” he said at the time. Things got a little weird, especially in my house. My husband really got into tie-dying and when I say tie-dying, I mean 50 shirts a day.
Plaza and Baena got married at the house.
“I built a love altar very quickly in my courtyard. The Facts of Our Love, Little Stones, Smoke, Fire. Things of that nature,” she recalled hosting Ellen DeGeneres. “Then the guy from Alhambra came in the Hawaiian shirt with the briefcase [to perform the ceremony]…I don’t remember much of it, it was vague. But I’m pretty sure it’s legal.”
