Tirupati: After the stampede at the Tirupati Balaji temple in the hills of Tirumala, another incident has taken place. On Monday, a fire broke out in the laddoos counter at the temple. This caused panic among the devotees. It is reported that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the 47th lido counter. The devotees were frightened at this. However, it was found that there was a short circuit in the UPS related to the computer system installed at the counter. This started a fire and the counter was filled with smoke. The TTD officials took immediate action and brought the fire under control. Efforts are underway to restore the damaged computer system.

On the other hand, TTD has set up a model temple of Shri Vari at the Prayagraj Mahakamba Mela. As part of its Hindu Dharma campaign, TTD has set up a model temple of Srivari in Sector-6 near Nag Vasuki Temple. The temple was opened on Sunday. Engineering experts and TTD employees have beautifully decorated the model temple. TTD has set up a model temple with the objective of bringing the glory of Tirumala Srivari to the devotees of North India. Arrangements have been made for the Srivari temple for the devotees visiting the Kumbh Mela.

Venugopalan Dikshitulu, the chief priest of the Srivari temple conducted Srivari, Vastu Homam, Nitya Homam and other special pujas. Then the petitions and Mangala Neerajan were presented. Devotees were then allowed to enter the Srivari Model Temple for darshan. After darshan prasad was distributed.
