New Delhi: The Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJP) of the NDA alliance has entered the Delhi Assembly elections. Deepak Tanwar Valmiki, leader of Chirag Paswan’s party LJP, will contest from the Deoli reserved seat. Valmiki will file his nomination today. Union Minister Chirag Paswan congratulated him. JDU has announced its candidate from Baruri seat in Delhi.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan said on the party’s candidate Deepak Tanwar’s participation in the Delhi elections from the Deoli Assembly constituency, ‘Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ram Vilas) is going to contest the Delhi Assembly elections as part of the NDA. BJP has given Diwali seat to LJP (Ram Vilas). I am happy that the party has decided to field a candidate from Deoli who has consistently worked for the people of the region. He has been working for the people for a long time without any greed. Deepak Tanwar has long been associated with the ideology of me, my family and our leader Ram Vilas Paswan.

What did JDU say on getting a seat?

In the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP has given two seats to its allies of the NDA. Out of this, Deoli seat has been given to LJP and Barari seat to JDU. JDU has declared Shailendra Kumar as its candidate. When asked about getting only one seat in the alliance, JDU spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad said that the seats have been divided now. “NDA will fight this election together and keep Aam Aadmi Party out of power in Delhi,” he said.
