This is a rare fourth consecutive mandate for the Center-Left party.
Mark Carney, a former central banker and economist, will be as Prime Minister.
He will be the individual sitting on the table from the United States President Donald Trump as two neighbors – and once as close colleagues – tariffs, military expenses – and even face disagreements on Canadian sovereignty.
So where does Canada go from here?
