Flixpatrol There's a site that collects streaming viewership data, and a quick look at the page for “Vanished Into the Night” reveals a truly impressive start for the Italian thriller. The film hit Netflix on July 11 and immediately topped the charts in multiple countries the next day. In fact, “Vanished” reached number one in 24 countries on July 12, including its native Italy and several South American countries. But it also managed to take the top spot in Greece, the Bahamas, Spain and Poland. Perhaps most impressively, the film remains number one in all but one of those 24 countries, while it slipped to number two in Spain.

Director Renato De Maria shouldn't be too bothered by this, though, because while he lost the number one spot in Spain, his film has gone to number one in several other markets. As of July 15, “Vanished” is number one in at least 48 countries, securing the top spot in some countries like France, Egypt, Lithuania and Saudi Arabia.

All of this raises the question: How well is “Vanished” doing in the United States? When it first dropped on Netflix, the film made such an impact on viewers that it hit number four on the most-watched chart the day after its release. Since then, it has slowly climbed the charts, reaching number three on July 13 and number two on July 15. “Vanished” has had a similarly impressive performance in the U.K., where it debuted at number five on July 12 and has since risen to number three.
