Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce, and A-Rod convinced her to go through with it?
this is it It looks like Like, anyway.
Now that Bennifer 2.0 is over, people are wondering about J.Lo’s relationship history. Before Ben Affleck, her most recent ex-boyfriend was Alex Rodriguez.
And it seems A-Rod is all over her due to the breakdown of his marriage. Tough!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are (officially) getting divorced
On Tuesday, August 20, news broke that Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
The news followed months of what we can only call “breakup hype,” with both Ben and Jen publicly demonstrating that they were leading completely separate lives.
According to their filing, the date of separation was April of this year. This lines up pretty well with the two not appearing at the Met Gala together, taking separate vacations, and completely ignoring each other’s birthdays from opposite coasts.

After the news of the divorce (finally) broke, the entire internet was filled with sarcasm.
Jennifer Lopez has two disappointing movies released on streaming in 2024. Many on social media have been reminded in recent years of Lopez’s history of allegedly not tipping or under-tipping food service and hospitality workers.
As random commenters shared their thoughts (and somewhat saddening thoughts) on the demise of Bennifer 2.0, Lopez’s (other) most recent ex-boyfriend faded them in.

Is A-Rod catching up with Jennifer Lopez?
On Tuesday, August 20 — within hours of his ex-fiancée’s divorce filing making news around the world — Alex Rodriguez Instagram Story to share a quote. He was quoting himself (he does this sometimes).
The quote reads, “Either you go one way or the other, it’s better you decide the direction.”
Under normal circumstances this is a pretty harmless quote. In this case, one might wonder if it was a reference to Jennifer Lopez’s very public separation.

Truth be told, even if he’s talking about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s divorce — which also seems possible — it’s not necessarily pretentious. Nor is it disrespectful in any way.
Shadow often takes the form of an indirect compliment.
However, it seemed like A-Rod was simply saying that Jennifer Lopez might be the one deciding that their relationship is over. That’s not necessarily ruining her image.

It’s definitely a complicated time for him
Alex Rodriguez uses ambiguous words Citation has been known to comment on things in the past — including his 2021 breakup with Jennifer Lopez.
But, aside from A-Rod and his alleged spectacles (or words of consolation), we’re sure she heard from everyone in her life who told her that Bennifer 2.0 was a bad idea.
Sometimes, saying “I told you so” can also stop you from saying so. And this applies to people in both of your social circles.
