In the meeting of Madrasas Arabia, a unanimous resolution was passed in favor of maintaining the current system of registration of Madrasahs.
The meeting was attended by the Ulama and Sheikhs of all schools of thought, the Chairman Islamic Ideological Council, the Federal Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Information.
According to the details, a meeting of Madras Arabia under the chairmanship of Chairman Pakistan Ulama Council was held in Islamabad in which Federal Minister for Education Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarr and Director General of Religious Education were held in Islamabad. Major General (retd) Ghulam Qamar, Chairman Islamic Ideological Council Dr Raghib Naimi and Maulana Abdul Karim Azad were also present.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that 3 million students are studying in madrasahs in Pakistan, before 2019 there were 5 madrasah boards, the government changed the policy on our demand, it was decided that whoever has the capacity It should be given right to the board.
Ten new boards have been established which are working vigorously, the agreement reached in 2019 has been signed by all, 18,600 Madrasahs have trusted this system, and have been registered by the Ministry of Education.
Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that we don’t deny anyone’s existence, we don’t want to be a part of any kind of riot, today you say, if you make a new agreement, who is responsible for the future of millions of students, we are not concerned about their future. The government, any organization and any party will not be allowed to play.
The survival of madrasahs is from the Ministry of Education, we should not do politics from the platform of madrasahs, we have many complaints from the government which we are solving by sitting in the room, we request the government to strengthen this system, Chairman Ruit Hilal Committee. Maulana Abdul-ul-Khabir Azad said madrasas are the fortresses of Islam, here we are all together, madrasas are playing a great role in the country.
Director General of Religious Education, Ministry of Education Dr. Ghulam Qamar said that the children of Madrasahs serve the religion, the Cabinet decided to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Education for Madrasahs, an agreement was signed with Ulama, 2500 students are being given technical education.
Chairman Islamic Ideological Council Allama Raghib Naimi said that now there is no external threat to the Madrasah system, the matter of Madrasahs is religious and should not be made into an akhara. should be graded.
Allama Jawad Naqvi said that the government should allot plots for building madrasas, the madrasas should be registered under the Ministry of Education, the government should negotiate with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, he is a respectable person.
Federal Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar said that a system has been devised to bring madrasas into the national mainstream. Negative things have to be eliminated.
The Madrasah Bill could not become a law due to some legal complications. The suggestions of the scholars have been noted. Will listen, want a solution that is acceptable to all.

The meeting unanimously approved the resolution presented by Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, in which it is said that today’s meeting demands the government of Pakistan to maintain the current system of madrasas, in any case the Directorate General The system of non-religious education should not be abolished, Madrasahs should be associated with the education system, the government should not change or abolish this system under any pressure.
The leaders of all Madrasa Boards should be consulted regarding any kind of legislation, no attempt to change the existing system will be acceptable in any case, the government should not come under any pressure.
