On Monday, Kangana held a meeting with workers at Mandi’s Nachan Assembly and participated in a membership drive. Meanwhile, what Ranaut said while talking to the media could once again spark a controversy, which has already started with the opposition of the Congress. The main opposition party of the country has objected to Kangana Ranaut’s statement.

Congress said on Twitter, ‘3 black laws imposed on farmers should be rolled back. BJP MP Kangana Ranaut said this. More than 750 farmers of the country were martyred, only then Modi government woke up and withdrew these black laws. Now BJP MPs are again planning to withdraw these laws. Congress is with farmers. These black laws will never come back, no matter how hard Narendra Modi and his MPs try.

What did Kangana Ranaut say?

Talking to the media, Kangana Ranaut revealed her connection to a farmer family. He said, ‘The laws which have been withdrawn regarding farmers, I think they should be re-implemented. It may be controversial, but I think pro-farmer laws should come back and farmers themselves should demand it. So that our farmers are prospering like other places, there is no hindrance in the prosperity of farmers. Farmers are the main pillar of strength in the development of the country. I want them to appeal themselves that our three laws which were objected to in some states, I join hands with them in requesting that these laws be withdrawn keeping in mind the interest of all the farmers.

The government withdrew the laws after massive protests

The Modi government had three agricultural laws passed by Parliament during its second term. Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; Agreement on Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020; And there was considerable opposition to these laws called the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. Farmers sat on strike at the borders of Delhi for over a year. Finally, in November 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the repeal of all three laws, saying that he could not convince the farmers.
