Jamshedpur: Ratan Naval Tata, Padma Vibhushan and Honorary Chairman of Tata Sons, the country’s largest business trust, passed away. His age was 86 years. Due to his deteriorating health, he was admitted to the Breeze Kandy Hospital in Tata Mumbai. Due to his growing age, he faced many problems. Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata last visited Jharkhand on March 2 and 3, 2021, when he participated in several programs held in Jamshedpur.

Hearing the news of his death brought tears to many people’s eyes.

As the news of Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata’s death came late in the night, the people of the city were left in complete shock. Although people already knew that Ratan Tata has been quite ill for the past two days and has been admitted to the hospital. But as soon as the news of his demise came, many officers and employees working in the Tata Group and many people in the city who had spent a lot of time with him were in tears.

Jharkhand last seen on March 2, 2021.

Ratan Tata last visited Jharkhand on March 2, 2021. He then attended the inauguration of the newly constructed building of the Naval Tata Hockey Academy, the IIT Center and an infrastructure of the Tata Company in Jamshedpur. After that, he also participated in the programs organized in Jamshedpur on the foundation day of Tata Group on March 3. During this time, his health was not good due to which he could not meet many people.

CM Hemant Soren has announced a day of mourning in Jharkhand.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed grief over the death of Ratan Tata. He said- ‘One day official mourning has been announced on the death of Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata Group, who made a country like Jharkhand recognized as a backward state in the world.

Expressing grief over Ratan Tata’s demise, Odisha Governor Raghuvar Das said that he had deep affection for Jharkhand and Jamshedpur. Raghovardas said- ‘I used to work as an employee in Tata Steel. Since then I have been in his company as Chief Minister. During Momentum Jharkhand, he urged them to open a cancer hospital in Ranchi. He gladly accepted. On November 10, 2018, he himself attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of the hospital. Ratan Tata was a great industrialist as well as a sensitive person. He had a wealth of knowledge. His departure is a personal loss for me. The moments I spent with him will always impress me.
