Ankit Tiwari, Noida: The police have started cracking down on hotels in Noida without norms and permission. At the time of the investigation, less than 20 percent of the smaller hotels were able to permit. Now the police are prepared to take action against hotels that are unable to show permission. Notices have been issued to 263 such hotel operators. If not satisfied with their answer, the management can close them. Investigation revealed that some people are using the houses as hotels. They were also given a notice to close. Notices have been issued in this regard. Soon the rules will no longer be followed in hotels. Notices have been issued.

Notices issued to 263 hotels

Police investigated 432 hotels for security measures. Out of these 263 hotels have been issued notices by the police. Apart from them, only 85 hotels managed to show permission under Sarai Act. The remaining 84 are being investigated. Failure to provide correct information after notice, action will be taken against them.

The hotel was running at home

Investigation revealed that a large number of hotel registers were not maintained. Couldn’t even give information about the people visiting the hotel. Other necessary arrangements including CCTV cameras for security were also not available. Some people were running their house in a hotel and some people were running in the name of a famous company. In such a situation, after serving a notice to the hotel operators, the police is asked to file a reply.
