Portwood described it as a “trauma reaction,” with the MTV reality star addressing all the critics who made false claims online that she’d hurt Waithe.
“Why am I being persecuted? ‘We know Amber killed him,'” she said, referring to the negative comments that spread online. “I had to deal with that. Do you know what it feels like when people call you a killer in front of your fiancée?”
“He doesn’t know what he did,” Portwood said as she cried. “They were calling me a killer. They said I killed him.”
