Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that even if the consultation with JUI on the issue of constitutional amendments is not successful, he will try to complete the numbers.
In an interview given to private TV, Bilawal Bhutto said that the establishment of constitutional courts was discussed in the charter of democracy.
He said that in order to build a consensus, one should listen to the position of others. Judicial reform is very important, it should have been done long ago. He said that the founder PTI should think outside of himself, all presidents and prime ministers have talked about judicial reforms. The establishment of constitutional courts has nothing to do with the founding PTI.
Bilawal Bhutto said that it is not the job of the Constitutional Court to keep anyone in jail, PTI wants the judicial system to function and neither does the Parliament. The PP Chairman said that even if the consultation with JUI is not successful, they will try to complete the numbers.
