The ceremony, which began at the Stade de France on Sunday afternoon, saw competitors from around the world celebrate their new gold, silver and bronze medals and come together one last time for a variety of big performances by dancers, musicians and others.

The first big act came from French indie band, Phoenix, who performed their big hit, “Lisztomania” while athletes surrounded them on stage. The band later collaborated with Kavinsky for a rendition of the party anthem “Nightcall”.
Then came the time for the big headlines – billie eilish, snoop doggand the Red Hot Chili Peppers тАУ all performed on a beach in Los AngelesтАж and the proverbial torch was handed over to LA, host of the upcoming 2028 Summer Games.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers rocked out with one of their classic songs “Can’t Stop” … while Eilish performed her latest hit “Birds of a Feather” with her band and brother/producer. Finneas,
