Brett Favre Is taking an optimistic approach to his battle with Parkinson’s… is telling tmz sports He “can’t complain” about his life – although he admitted he struggles sometimes, because “when I wake up in the morning, I feel like a board.”
The Hall of Famer opened up about his illness on Thursday afternoon… and watch his interview with us It’s clear, he’s staying super positive despite the serious diagnosis.
The 55-year-old says doctors caught everything very early — “In fact,” he tells us, “my doctor said you’re probably the earliest patient I’ve ever seen.”
He said his medication has made all his symptoms manageable… and he’s encouraged about the possibility of some kind of imminent cure.
But, the ex-Green Bay Packers superstar said there’s one thing that’s bothering him about this issue – some tight muscles in the AM.
“With my Parkinson’s, the main side effect is stiffness and rigidity,” he said. “I have a little tremor, but not much. But there is stiffness and stiffness.”
He added, “When I wake up in the morning I feel like a board.” “I don’t need any help because of football. But, all things considered, I’m a very lucky person.”
