“Sure [it’s me]” Britney, 28, said during the Wednesday, August 28 episode of “Whoop” podcast. “He doesn’t get nervous or stressed at all. That’s just what he loves to do. I think he loves new game plans, new challenges, playing with new people.”
“I think I get a little more nervous than him every week,” she added.
Brittany and Patrick, 28, have been together since high school. They stayed together through college and after Patrick’s 2017 NFL draft. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback proposed to Brittany after winning his first Super Bowl trophy in 2020. The win still remains one of the most “memorable” games Brittany has ever seen.

“It was the first time and it was the best feeling ever,” he said on Wednesday. “You know, [the afterparty] It was fun, but it was crazy to stay out until 5 a.m. because that’s what they do in Miami.”
Patrick, whose team also won back-to-back Lombardi Trophies in 2023 and 2024, and Brittany share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 20 months. Brittany is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child, another daughter.
During the NFL season, Brittany also takes on more responsibilities at home so Patrick can focus on the field.
“I lost my husband to football last season,” she joked Wednesday. “As a wife, I thought, ‘I understand. This is what you want to do.’ So, I wasn’t pressuring him or interfering with what he was doing.”
Brittany Mahomes doesn’t take game day fashion lightly. She added, “I understand that during football season, Patrick is all about football and so I do a lot of things to make his life outside of football a little less stressful. Then, in the offseason, it’s all about him, man!”
Britney went on to say that her mindset was “why [they] She understands his game-time goals” because she understands his game-time goals.
“I try and take care of as many things as I can and minimise his work so he can work on football and master it,” she said, adding that football is “what he needs.” [Patrick] “likes to do it”.
Patrick realizes how much Brittany does for their family.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does,” he said on the “Impaulsive” podcast in May. “I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so that I can focus on football and my art and everything like that. [She’s] A Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [which] It makes it a lot easier. I mean, when you come home and your best friend is there and you can just hang out, you want to be there all the time and she inspires me to be great and she’s done a lot of great things herself.”
