The police in UP's Ballia has launched a new campaign against gangs that indulge in anarchy and illegal activities by creating groups with strange names on social media.

Ballia Police has given this information on its official Twitter handle and said that a reward of Rs 5000 will be given to those who provide information about such groups and their identity will also be kept confidential.

“Some hooligans, young boys of unusual type, form groups on platforms like WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and indulge in anarchic activities,” the Ballia police wrote on social media.

It is further said that these anarchist elements try to spread chaos by creating groups on social media with the names of Farsa, Trishul, Chhoti, Tangi, Sawar, Shikhari, Bhattar, Chingari.

It has been further said by the police that a cash reward of Rs 5,000 will be given to the person who gives correct information about such social media groups to the police and the identity of the person giving the information will also be kept confidential. Let us tell you that there are many groups on social media who do such illegal activities even for money.
