The Olympics are starting from July 26 in Paris. Indian athletes are expected to win more medals this time. Especially from our shooters. This time the Indian shooting team has a total of 21 shooters. But the sad thing is that despite their outstanding performance, not a single soldier or officer of the UP Police got a chance to go to Paris to participate in the Olympics. Believe me, if the Indian Olympic Association had included some shooters from UP Police in their team, some more medals would have been assured. It would not have been surprising if the gold had fallen into the bag.
Don’t make fun of it even if it is a joke. What they are saying is absolutely true. Whether it is dark at night or someone is running around, someone is on a motorcycle or in a car, someone is standing, sitting, lying down, in whatever situation they are and how far or near they are, Mazal. What if he misses the target? The bullet will hit the leg only. And that too on a particular part of the foot. You might not believe this to be true, so let’s know about this incident.
Thanidar narrated the story of the encounter
Let’s talk about Amroha. An inspector is posted in Hasanpur police station of Amroha. Name is Deep Kumar Pant. He is telling the story of a recent encounter. It is claimed that hardly any other policeman has told such a true story in the same breath. What a shame, the inspector would have put a comma or a full stop somewhere in the middle. He told everything in one breath for one minute and nine seconds.
3 characters in a police story
There were three characters in his story. The same three boys sat on a motorcycle. Three suspicious boys. When they were stopped, they opened fire on the police and in the retaliatory fire, one of the three was shot in the leg. This is the same Manoj Saini who was shot in the leg. While the two suspicious boys sitting on the motorcycle behind him are the same two. One of them is Rohit and the other is Amit.
The injured criminal’s brother told the truth
Now, before taking the story of Inspector Sahib’s encounter further, it will be necessary that Rohit and Amit also tell their story. Also, Manoj’s brother, who was shot, also told his story. Listen quickly to the brother who was shot in the leg. He said – he was sleeping at night, the police took him away. He was sleeping at night, the police took him to the garden, took his picture, this is the story.
The matter reached the court.
Now the story progresses in such a way that after the encounter, the inspector presents the three in the court. Since the trio opened fire on the police, according to their story, the trio is charged with attempted murder, among other charges. Now, as the case begins in court, the judge also remembers the Olympic shooting. The judge was stunned to see this goal of the policemen in the dark of night.
The judge’s surprise
How can one aim so accurately in the dark? That too on foot. And the surprising thing is that shots are being fired from the front as well. That is, from suspicious boys. They are also shooting in the dark. And his aim was so poor that even after touching the policeman, his bullet would have missed the mark. To the judge’s astonishment, the policemen, in their excitement to win a medal in the case, even said that they had inspected the crime scene in the dark after the shooting. Three shells of the bullets fired by the miscreant boys at the police team have also been found on the spot.
The police could not answer the judge’s questions
The judge was very pleased. Khushi asks, that’s fine but where are the bullet shells fired by the police? The judge asked in a questioning tone that you had fired two rounds in self-defense. One leg was injured. A target was missed. But where did the shells of these two bullets go? Now the Amroha police became depressed. He said, Sir, we could not find our booths because of the darkness. The judge was surprised that the bullets fired by the boys were found in the dark, but how did the two bullets fired from the official 9 mm pistol escape the keen eyes of the police?
The judge understood the whole story.
Well, the judge went ahead. asked, the encounter taking place in the dark. There was firing from both sides. Your aim was amazing. Shot in the leg. But there were also shots fired from there. It was also dark at night. So was any police officer injured? Have some scratches? The policeman is sad again. Said no sir. Perhaps the judges understood everything by now. After that he got angry and then he gave his decision.
The judge surprised me.
A decision which has hardly been given by any court judge in the country in recent times. Within 24 hours of their arrest after the encounter, the judge ordered an honorable discharge for Rohit and Anil. See Kamal, the police had gone to court to take police remand of the three boys and the judge was ordering their immediate release. Not only this, you should also know a few lines of what was said in your historical judgment.
Strange, wonderful and unnatural
Amroha District Chief Judicial Magistrate Ompal Singh said in his decision. It is strange, surprising and unnatural that no police officers were injured. It is also suspicious and unbelievable that the two 9mm bullets fired by the police were not recovered from the alleged crime scene even after a thorough search. Injured Manoj Kumar was hit by a police bullet in his left leg. It is a matter of serious investigation as to where the second bullet went. And where did the two pill boxes go? The shells and cartridges of the accused were recovered, but the police could not recover their shells. Due to which the authenticity of the event is doubtful. Only the accused Manoj Kumar was caught on the spot and the other two accused were arrested on July 16 from Gujrula Tirah Hasanpur. From which there is no recovery. There were only four people in the police team. While the number of accused has been said to be three. And no policeman was even implicated in the incident, in which case the facts narrated in the first information report and case diary are basically fictitious and unbelievable. Considering the above facts and circumstances, it is not clear that any offense under Section 109 BNS has been committed against the three accused. Therefore, the request for remand of the three accused under Section 109 BNS is rejected.
A police story
So you know the whole story. Now we tell you more of the story. In fact, Amroha’s Hasanpur police claimed that three suspicious boys were riding a motorcycle on the night of July 15. When the police tried to stop them, they started running away. Then opened fire on the police. The police also opened fire in self-defense. One of them was shot in the leg and then the three were arrested. This was the story of the police.
The real story of the incident
Now the real story was that the police picked up the three boys from their house on the night of the incident and then fabricated the whole story of their arrest, encounter and recovery. But the story was so weak that the judge was not convinced. So they released him. But the question is, barring this one decision in UP, how many such decisions have been taken regarding fake encounters? And the bigger question is that how many policemen involved in such fake encounters were punished? Leave the rest, will the Amroha police involved in the fake encounter get any punishment in this one case?
