Just hours after announcing his divorce, the soap star was spotted in the city with a new woman.
Her name is Aubrey Knight and as soon as their pictures together surfaced, the rumour mill went into overdrive.

Cameron Mathison might have a new girlfriend
Just hours after it was announced that he and Vanessa Mathison ending their marriage of 22 years, general Hospital the star was Photo Enjoying lunch with a female friend.
The friend in question is Aubrey Knight, who owns the company. Aubree Night BeautyThe two were spotted enjoying a lunch date together at Sweetgreen Eatery while at her salon in Los Angeles.
Normally, this would be nothing to report on. There was no PDA involved, and Cameron is obviously capable of making friends of the opposite sex without any problems.
The reason for the doubt is the timing. Just that morning, Cameron informed his fans and the world that his marriage was over, but she did not respond to it.
Could Aubry be that answer? That depends on who you ask.
A ‘new chapter’ for Cameron
After the photos were published, there was radio silence from the media. CameroonAubree and Vanessa talk about her moving on.
However, ET OnlineWho spoke exclusively about Cameron’s split, was told by a source that Aubree is not Cameron’s new girlfriend.
Now, this doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have a relationship or that things can’t change later on. But for now, the source calls their relationship “friendly.” So, we’ll leave it at that.
But Cameron is a free man now, and free to find love with someone new if he wants.
“After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to separate,” the couple announced in a joint statement. “We enter this new chapter with deep love, compassion and respect for one another. We hold in our hearts gratitude for the wonderful years we had together.”
Amicable ex-boyfriend
The reason for Cameron and Vanessa’s separation is still unclear.
Cameron and Vanessa first met in 1998 while they were working as models in New York City. They began dating the following year and tied the knot on July 27, 2002.
In his statement, he assured fans that they will always remain “friends.” That’s good to hear, because there’s a whole other family to consider.
Cameron and Vanessa have two children – son Lucas, 21, and daughter Lila, 18.
“Our children have been and will always remain our top priority, and we will continue to show our devotion and love to them,” they said in a statement.
Divorce is never easy, not even for grown children. So, it’s nice to hear that they think they can remain friends.
