Anisimova, seeded 132nd, reached the National Bank Open final with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 win over eighth seed Navarro.
The 22-year-old former French Open semi-finalist and 2022 Wimbledon quarter-finalist has now beaten four top-20 players in a row after victories over Sabalenka, Anna Kalinskaya and Daria Kasatkina.

Sebastian Korda The sensational summer form continued as the in-form American defeated second seed Alexander Zverev to reach his second ATP Masters 1000 semi-final.
Korda won 7-6 (7-5) 1-6 6-4 against Zverev, his eighth consecutive victory and his second in 14 meetings against top-five opponents.
