Carlo Anseloti has accepted his future in real Madrid, suspects that his time may be as “tomorrow”, but will always be grateful to the club.

Madrid was excluded by Arsenal 5–1 in the Champions League quarter-finals by Arsenal as he saw the shadow of the team that won the competition in two of the last three sessions.

Anseloti’s team is also four points behind Barcelona in Laliga, with seven matches left.

Ancelotti’s contract in Bernabeu lasts till 2026.

“We have done very well in the previous sessions, but this year we have suffered. Things have not been as expected, but this is not the case because there are no unbeatable teams.

“Arsenal was better than us. We tried to perform our best. Perhaps the reversal punishment was a significant turn. It could change.

“But Arsenal defended very well. We were difficult to find spaces. We were better than normal in our intensity level but it was not enough.”

Brazil ‘hope’ for appointment of ancelotti

Brazil is expected to appoint Anseloti as its new head coach.

A source has told Sky sports news’ Amar Mehta Diego Fernandes, a major Brazilian businessman, is trying to broker a potential deal.

It is understood that Fernandes has an Anseloti team and Brazilian Football Federation (CBF).

Although not officially associated with CBF, Fernandes is called in close contact with the 65 -year -old and his participation is being described by the source as “highly strategic”, as part of the effort to bring the Italian of CBF into Brazil.

However, it is understood that there is a growing concern within the Brazil camp that the time to appoint is going on and the national team cannot live without a head coach by August, with two World Cup qualifiers the next month.

Their next game against Paraguay and Ecuador in the World Cup 2026 comes in June and Brazil has been without a manager since the dismissal of Dorival Junior after losing Argentina 4–1 in March.

The current contract of Ancelotti in Real Madrid ends in June 2026 and Real has been associated with Bayer Lever Kusan manager and former real player Xabi Alonso.

Since last year’s Copa America, Anseloti has been widely described as the target of the Brazilian National Team. He is also allegedly interested in Al Hilal’s current manager George Jesus in the Saudi Pro League.

CBF has been approached Sky Sports News.
