The important meeting of the Central Selection Board has been postponed for a month. In this meeting, senior bureaucrats were to be promoted to Grade 20 and Grade 21, but the postponement of the meeting disappointed hundreds of officers waiting for promotion.
According to the Tribune report, the Central Selection Board meeting was scheduled to be held on November 26, 27 and 28, but now the meeting will be held between December 23 and 27.
Sources say that the high-powered selection board meeting will be held in the first week of December, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting in which officers will be promoted to grade 22.
In the CSB meeting of the Establishment Division, the opportunity to promote the posted employees of Civil Service of Pakistan to Grade 20 and Grade 21 is to be considered.
