Draw format explained
Teams ending between the ninth and 16th in the league will be sown for the play-off round.
They will face an unsided team that ended between the 17th and 24th in the table – the seed team also benefits from playing the second leg at home.
Sides will also be added together to the draw, which means that both sides of the ninth and 10th place will be prepared against the 23rd or 24th sides.
Teams ending 11th and 12th will be prepared against the 21st or 22nd sides, and so on.
The eight winners of the play -off will meet the teams that ended in the top eight from the initial league stage in the final -16, where the familiar topic of the knockout round will run all the way in the final.
