Prayag Raj: The Union Ministry of Culture will organize an exhibition on the great freedom-bringing revolutionaries at the Mahakamba to be held in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj in January next year, which will also feature a replica of Chandrashekhar Azad’s pistol ‘Bamat al-Bukhara’. According to fair authority officials, replicas of all the ancient weapons in the Allahabad Museum will also be on display, which will be seen by devotees visiting the Maha Kumbh Mela from India and abroad.

Allahabad Museum Deputy Curator Dr. Rajesh Mishra said that through this exhibition, people will get to know the lives of the great revolutionaries of the country and also get an opportunity to know many untold stories of the heroes who fought for freedom. “

According to Mishra, “Chandrasekhar Azad’s pistol ‘Bamat al-Bukhara’ was unique in that it did not emit smoke after firing. Therefore, the British could not know where the bullets were coming from.
