A video journalist was killed when a speeding car hit a motorcycle in Chennai late on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Pondy Bazaar area, who was working as a camera person in a popular Telugu news channel. And to earn extra money he worked as a part-time Rapido driver.
The accident was reported on the Maduravai Tambaram Elevated Bypass, police said. People said that a speeding BMW car hit the motorcycle of the deceased. After the collision, the car driver fled from the spot.
As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and after investigation, it was found that after the collision, the motorcyclist fell 100 meters away from the elevated highway, due to which he died on the spot.
