jayden daniels Has won over Commanders fans with his play so far this year… and is clearly one of the franchise’s best players of all-time — as Brian Mitchell says tmz sports He’s extremely impressed with Washington’s star rookie.
Through five games, Daniels has the Commanders at 4-1 and on top of the NFC East… and Mitchell says it’s clear to him now, the 23-year-old signal-caller’s potential is enormous.
“The sky is the limit,” the former All-Pro said.
Michelle – who co-hosts “Bee Mitch and Finlay,” A D.C.-area sports talk show — told us he could see Daniels’ maturity from a mile away when Washington took him with the No. 2 pick in the spring draft… but he said the same thing that got him talking about LSU. I was really impressed. He maintained his drive even after being named the team’s QB1 over the summer.
In fact, the ex-Washington tailback said he’s pretty sure if Daniels keeps this up… the key to the city — and a lot more — is in his future.
“If he keeps leading like this,” Mitchell said, “he might as well get all the people in this city, this state, this region, around – he might feed them with his hands!”
Coming off a great performance so far, Daniels will have a big test on Sunday… when he and the Commanders take on the Ravens in Baltimore. Mitchell told us he’s expecting a helluva game… but if his former team loses – he cautioned fans to maintain optimism.
Ultimately, Mitchell explained that the entire organization has a different feel to it now that they have new ownership in addition to a new QB and head coach.
