Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has termed the agreement between the two countries to cooperate between Pakistan and China for cooperation in space research as a new chapter of Pak-China friendship.
A new chapter has been added to space research between Pakistan and China, under which the Pakistani astronaut will depart on the mission of the Chinese space station.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the agreement between Pakistan and China in space research is a new chapter of Pak-China friendship. Under this agreement, Pakistan’s first astronaut will leave for China’s space station Tiangong.
He said that the agreement reflects a deep friendship between the two countries, Sparco will have to take full advantage of the opportunity so that Pakistan can gain a prominent place in space research.
Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal said that the agreement would pave the way for development in Pakistan’s space technology sector.
The ceremony was also addressed by the Chairman of Sparko and Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarard.
