Philadelphia Union midfielder Jeremy Rafanello agreed to contract terms on Wednesday through the 2026 season.
Financial terms were not disclosed by the union, who have options on Rafanello’s deal for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
Rafanello, 24, has made 10 appearances (four starts) for Philadelphia this season. He recorded his only point with an assist in the Union’s 4–3 loss to FC Cincinnati on June 19.
Rafanello played 12 minutes off the bench in one match last season.
“In his two seasons with Union, Jeremy has been dedicated to his development and progression as a player,” said Union sporting director Ernst Tanner.
“He has stepped up in important matches and remains ready when called upon. His increased minutes on the field this season are testament to his work ethic, and we are delighted to be able to reward him with a new contract.”
