A weak English bulldog mixture was found wandering near Macnaire Secondary School in Richmond and is now in the care of BC SPCA.
In a news release, BC SPCA said Jogar came across the dog on 2 April in the morning.
Jogar saw that the dog was skin and bones.
Elene Draer, senior officer of protection and stakeholder relationship with BC SPCA, said, “Jogger looked at the dog behind him, because he ran away.”
“First, he thought that the dog belonged to someone, but he looked around and looked at someone. When he stopped running, the dog was just standing there and was surprised.”
The draver said Jogar was able to take the dog into his car and when he was waiting for the animal center to open, he bought him some rotisary chicken and a collar.
The dog is now in the care of a spinach family, which takes care of the BC SPCA.

Center employees found that the dog had no identity and no microchip.

“Apart from suffering from starvation, the dog has arthritis in his front legs,” said the draver. “His veterinary checkup went well, but he is not yet out of the forest.
“He is not increasing weight as soon as possible.
The draver said that dogs are vested, which may be challenging for nurses for health and suffer from long -term effects.
The dog, which is not named, is love and affectionate, its foster family report.
At this time, it is not known when the dog will be available for adoption.
