The second trailer of Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut’s much awaited film ‘Emergency’ has been released. The film will hit the theaters on January 17, 2025. On the occasion of 50 years of Emergency imposed in 1975, Kangana has shown the controversial side of history in her political drama, when former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi imposed Emergency in the country.

The second trailer of the film depicts the turmoil in the country after the imposition of Emergency. Kangana, seen in the role of Indira Gandhi, is facing attacks from all sides. In one scene, when the President questions her about taking an emergency decision alone, she says – I am the cabinet. Further in the story it is shown how war is declared in the country. The demand to ‘vacate the throne’ against Indira Gandhi is rising everywhere. The film will feature Anupam Kher (Jay Prakash Narayan), Shreyas Talpade (Atal Behari Vajpayee) and Milind Soman (Field Marshal Sam Maneksha).
