Police have exposed a group of fake notes in Lamdia village in Dahud district of Gujarat. The action was taken after detecting numbers related to fake currency case in Banswara, Rajasthan. Police came out of a man named Kanji Garasia, one of the suspicious numbers, a resident of Mandali Falia in Lamdia village.
Police said that in a raid on Kanji Garasia’s house, police received 143 such papers, on which the green bandage was hidden like a real note of Rs 500. In addition, 14 pieces of paper printed with 332 Gerox and 42 notes were also recovered. Police arrested Kanji and his wife Ashwinban on the spot and presented it to the court and received a seven -day remand.

During the interrogation, it was revealed that the group was active not only in Gujarat, but also in eight states of the country. His mastermind is Hussein Para from Hyderabad, who was arrested in Telangana in December 2024 and is currently in Hyderabad jail. His role has also been found in the fake note scandal revealed in Banswara.

According to Dahud Superintendent Police, according to Dr Rajdeep Singh Jhula, the group was identified through a technical analysis. Hussein Para targets the youth living in the tribal areas and calls them Hyderabad and trains them. The group sends fake notes to the PDF format and helps printing with remote access.
So far, five people have been arrested in the case. These include Kanji Garcia, his wife Ashwinban, Mukesh Kamul (Chhur Village), Rakesh Pargi (Wangra Village) and Harishchandra Panchal (Patpur village).
