a member of the teenager’s family ruby vergara — who died in the Wisconsin school shooting earlier this week — expressed forgiveness for his attacker at Ruby’s funeral.
In front of a large crowd that came to pay tribute to 14-year-old Ruby on Saturday New York Post Vergara’s uncle’s report– andy ramus – said the family holds “no bitterness or forgiveness toward 15-year-old Natalie Rupno and her family.”
Remus says that Rupno’s family also lost a daughter… and, Rupno – a “precious child of God” – lost her way before the shooting.
Vergara’s uncle says the family is choosing to think about the love and kindness Ruby brought into the world…rather than anger over the way her life was ended.
The service was held at the City Church – a house of worship where Monday’s shooting took place.
As you know…Rupno killed Vergara and teacher Erin West, 42, before taking their own lives on Monday at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin.
While his motivation remains unclear, the Carlsbad, Calif. resident alexander puffendorf Detained for allegedly exchanging messages with Natalie, where he said he would open fire on a local government building.
