Marine Le Penn’s sentence for embezzling the European Union funds threatens to derail her dialect for the presidency in 2027.
A French court has stopped far-flung leader Marine Le Penn from demanding a public position after being found guilty of embezzling the funds of the European Union.
The Paris Court ruled that Le Penn used more than 3 million euros ($ 3.3m) of the European Parliament Fund to pay its national rally party members.
In his punishment, the Chief Justice announced that the nationalist politician would not be allowed to be effectively effective.
The ruling threatened to push Lee Penn out of the 2027 presidential race, in which he is currently at the forefront, according to the referendum survey.
The court has not yet announced the length of the ban. Prosecutors have requested that it should last for five years.
Le Penn has accused the prosecutors of demanding their “political death”. Jail sentence and heavy financial fines are also possible.
“If the Marine Le Pen cannot move, it will remove the French landscape and change its possibilities,” said Natac Butler of Al Jazira from the Paris court room. “Most likely it is that it will be Jordan Bardela to replace the current Chairman of RN.
He said, “But he is very small and does not have the same kind of major force in the form of Marine Le Pen,” he said. “That is not the figure that so many people in France know, and therefore some say that he will find it difficult in the 2027 race.
“Others say what a fresh face may be necessary.”
