Bhojpuri actor Vijay Khare passes away: Muzaffarpur artist Vijay Khare, who made his name in the film industry, passed away. He was the first actor to get a film shot in Muzaffarpur. He was suffering from kidney problem for some days. He was admitted to Kaveri Hospital in Bengaluru for treatment. His condition was stable but he bid farewell to life after his condition suddenly worsened at 4 am on Sunday. This incident has caused a wave of mourning among the artists and people of Bihar. Artists started gathering at Malighat’s residence in Muzaffarpur as soon as news of his death came. He was popularly known as Gabbar Singh in the Bhojpuri film industry.

If we talk about some of the popular films of Vijay Khare, who is known for playing the villain in films, then they include Ganga Kangar Mora Gaon (1983), Raizaada (1976), Humra Se Biya Karba (2003). Acted in the film with Amitabh Bachchan, the mega star of the century. His powerful acting gave him a lasting legacy in Bhojpuri. He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 for his outstanding services in the film industry. He was presented with the award at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium in Kolkata. What disease were you suffering from?

Actually he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease. He was under treatment for a long time. He acted in more than 300 Bhojpuri films and 50 Hindi films and made Bihar famous across the country. He left behind three sons and a wife. His elder son Santosh Khare is working as a General Manager in a large multinational company in Noida. His middle son Ashutosh Khare carried on his father’s legacy and acted in more than 50 films. He continues the tradition of Vijay Khare as an actor, director and producer. A native of Malighat in Muzaffarpur, Vijay Khare lived his life in Mumbai where he also ran an acting school Vijay Khare Academy and helped teach acting to the new generation.
