A massive fire broke out in a shoe shop located in Giankhand III of Indirapuram police station area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Due to this fire, a flat located on the ground floor also got burnt. As soon as the fire was reported, 6 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire.
The fire brigade team worked diligently to safely evacuate the people trapped in the shop and flat. Looking at the surrounding situation, the police and administration evacuated the nearby buildings to prevent the accident.
In the initial investigation, the cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit, but according to local people, the fire may also have started due to fireworks. The exact cause of the incident is not yet known.
