Hania Aslam, the singer of the famous band ‘Zeb and Hania’ from Coke Studio, passed away on August 11 (Sunday). She was forty nine years old.

Hania Aslam’s death was confirmed by her cousin and fellow singer Zeb Bangash through her Instagram account. He had a heart attack.

Zeb Bangash shared Haniya Aslam’s photos with the caption ‘Hani’ on his Instagram, on which, apart from common Instagram users, many celebrities also wrote condolence words and remembered her work.

Hania Aslam first came to the limelight in 2007 with her cousin Zeb Al-Nisa Bangash as the duo Zeb and Hania.

Both rose to fame with their hit song ‘Chal Diye’ on Pakistan’s Coke Studio.

In 2014, she left the group and moved to Canada to study and started her solo career there.
