Increasing Extremism: Parliamentary Committee on National Security Meeting Trending Global News

The camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security is taking place today (Tuesday), under the direction of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in the wake of the growing attacks in the country, especially in the recent attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq convened a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security on Tuesday at 12 noon.

The meeting is being held in the National Assembly Hall, in which the parliamentary leaders of all the political parties in the parliament and their nominated representatives are participating.

At the meeting, the military leadership will brief the parliamentary committee on the security situation in the country.

This important meeting is called in the context of incidents of militant attacks at Jaffar Express, security forces convoy in Noshki, security forces convoy in Noshki and militant attacks at FC check post at Jandula district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
