India believes in uniting rather than dividing.”
Singh said that beyond its military importance, the VLF station will help in the development of Vikarabad district by creating job opportunities and promoting infrastructure development.
CM A Revanth Reddy, who also addressed the gathering, appealed to Singh to secure benefits for local residents. “I urge the Minister to ensure that the schools to be built get a quota of students from the local community and that health facilities are accessible to the local people. If people can benefit from these developments, then this project will serve a dual purpose. Will accomplish enhancing national security and improving the welfare of our citizens,” Reddy said.
