Pesar Ishant Sharma, a veteran of Titans (GT), Gujarat, has been fined 25 percent of his match fees, which violates the Indian Premier League (IPL) code of conduct during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday, 6 April.

The details behind the possible violation are not yet known, but the Governing Body confirmed the punishment with a statement on Monday, 7 April after the decision of the match referee Javagal Srinath.
“Ishant Sharma, bowler, Gujarat Titans have been fined 25 percent of his match fees and he has also deposited a demerit point for the IPL Code’s code of conduct during his team’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Sunday,” said in the statement.
The statement said, “Ishant Sharma entered the offense of level 1 under Article 2.2 and accepted the approval of the match referee. For the Code of Conduct for 1 Violations of Level, the decision of the match referee is final and binding.”
Ishant Sharma has earned a notorious reputation over the years, resulting in a suspected disciplinary record. Experienced has been fined several times on international circuits for changes on the region.
