Jamaat -e -Islami Amir Hafiz Naeem -ur -Rehman has announced a march on US consulates in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore against Israeli aggression in Gaza and for solidarity with Palestinians.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Sunday, Amir Jamaat -e -Islami said that Pakistan should have a voice against the aggression of Israeli Palestinians.
He announced that Jamaat -e -Islami is launching a vigorous campaign against Israeli brutality all over the country by delaying all its usual activities.
Hafiz Naeem -ur -Rehman said that the entire country will march towards the US Consulate on April 11, especially in Lahore, and will march in Karachi on April 13, while on April 20, the march will be marched to the US Embassy in Islamabad.
He also said that a delegation comprising Pakistani parliamentarians would contact Muslim -majority countries, including Turkey, Iran, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, to pressure Gaza to end the Israeli siege. ‘
He said that “Israeli invasion of Palestine, the silence of the Muslim world and the apathy of the international community is condemnable, where 90 percent of Gaza has been destroyed, thousands of people were expelled, children were bombed in Palestine on Eid and no one is ready to speak on this barbarism.”
