jameela jameel She’s speaking out against celebrities using Ozempic to lose weight… and she says it’s setting a bad example for the next generation.
The actress/model recently opened up about the use of diabetes medication in Hollywood, which many people are using to lose weight rapidly.
Jamila says about Ozempic… “To see so many people in my industry trying to go from slim to super skinny, finally achieving the obedient waif physique to fit into the standard sample size…. It’s hard. Especially for those of us who have struggled with eating disorders, who are they really doing this for?”
JJ continues… “I plan on sitting out this cycle. The curves will come back. They always come. Then they’ll go away again. Then they’ll come back. I’m going to sit out my brain, my heart, my bones. Not playing with density, or my metabolism for some trend you can’t follow.”
Jameela says she has struggled with anorexia in the past, and she also shared a photo of herself looking super thin, remembering a time where she was “pretending to be happy” and “on the verge of fainting.” She was pretending not to exist.”
