Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 21.
But you’d be forgiven if you didn’t know that.
It is not that any member of his family has talked about this on social media or any other medium.
In fact, as far as we know, the polarizing parents of 19 children received no well wishes from any of these kids.
Even Jana Duggar has not acknowledged the incident, even though she appears to have a good relationship with her parents. ( Jana Duggar , 34 doesn’t live with them anymore(However, it might be notable.)
The Duggars married in 1984, and their eldest son, Josh, was born four years later.
He is now serving more than a decade in prison after being convicted of possessing child pornography.
According to what we have heard, Jim Bob and Michelle still visit Josh in prison…which isn’t surprising at all when you consider that she helped cover up the molestation of some of his daughters (and their sisters) during that time.
He is a very wicked person.
Jim Bob and Michelle were also targets There was a documentary that aired on Amazon last summer which were based on the teachings of the church in which they raised their children.
He didn’t look too happy about it at the time either. Public condemnation of the project A statement said:
“The recent ‘documentary’ that talks about our family is sad because in it we see the media and people with bad intentions trying to hurt our loved ones.
“Like other families, our family has experienced life’s joys and sorrows, just in a very public way.
“This ‘documentary’ portrays too many things in a derogatory and sensationalist way, because sadly that is the direction entertainment is going these days.”
The documentary also included an interview Jill Duggarto which parents responded with this conclusion:
“We have always believed that the best way to mend damaged relationships or resolve differences is through loving dialogue in a private environment.
“We love every member of our family and will continue to do everything we can to maintain a good relationship with each one of them.
“Through both victories and trials we have become more connected to our faith and have found that through the love and grace of Jesus we find strength, comfort and purpose.”
